I still remember the feeling of confusion and under-confidence in the early days of Class XI, when I started my preparation for IIT-JEE, cracking it seemed to be a distant dream and the mammoth syllabus so difficult. But thanks to Malaya Sir who helped me build a strong foundation in Mathematics and Physics which made increased my chances and my confidence exponentially. He did not loose faith in me when I performed below par in my first attempt at competitive examinations and again helped me for another year after which I eventually cracked JEE. For me he is not just a teacher, but a mentor who has been the biggest positive influence in my life after my parents.
