I have the unique privilege of being able to say that I have had a very varied and rich educational experience – spanning three countries, five schools, twenty years and many teachers and professors. In all this time, I hold the educational experience I have had with Mr. Malaya Khandelwal as the most precious and definitive period in my education.
Mr. Malaya Khandelwal’s unique method of teaching by problem solving has seemed to me to be the most effective method that I have seen so far. His aptitude in judging that collective capability of the class is superior; he makes sure that the better students have plenty to think about, as well as make the subject matter simple for the average students. Where the other preparation centers for IIT-JEE preparation may force a large quantity of problems down the students’ throats, his problem sheets always contain a balance of concept-forming easy problems followed by examples of advanced nuances in the subject. Thus instead of rote-learning, the students actually learn the concepts and how to apply them.
It has been six years since I last was in Mr. Khandelwal’s class, but I can still remember some of the classes as if they happened yesterday. I would heartily recommend ThinkC to anyone who is serious about gaining an all round education to his tutelage.
