Utsav Dhanuka

I am Utsav Dhanuka, a final-year undergraduate student at IIT Kharagpur, pursuing a B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering. I had the immense privilege of being mentored by Malay Sir during my IIT-JEE preparation—a phase that was not only pivotal for my academic journey but also transformative in shaping my problem-solving abilities and approach to learning. Without a doubt, he is the best teacher and mentor I have had in my life so far.

Malay Sir’s teaching style is nothing short of extraordinary. His approach goes far beyond merely covering the syllabus. He focuses on building a strong foundation of fundamental concepts while instilling the importance of tackling problems using first principles. This method not only helped me excel in one of the toughest competitive exams but also gave me a profound appreciation for deep learning and logical thinking.

What truly sets Malay Sir apart is his ability to make even the most intricate and challenging topics feel approachable and engaging. His delivery style is both captivating and thought-provoking, sparking curiosity and enthusiasm among his students. Every class felt like an intellectual journey where we were encouraged to think critically, ask questions, and truly explore the subject matter. His passion for teaching is contagious, making every lesson both insightful and inspiring.

Beyond the classroom, Malay Sir has been a pillar of support in my life. His guidance has shaped many important decisions, and the values I learned from him continue to influence my growth. I am incredibly grateful for his mentorship, which has been instrumental in my academic and personal success.

Malay Sir is not just an outstanding teacher but also a lifelong mentor and role model whose wisdom I will always cherish.
